Lexmark z35 pulling paper in sideways

There is a Z35 printer at work that often pulls the paper in crooked. The
pinch roller is on the right side (looking at the front of the printer), and
it's as if the roller is too aggressive on that side of the paper. Several
times a day the paper pulls down hard and right, which causes a jam or an
unusable result.

Is this a sign of defect?

thank you,

bad printer, BAD printer :O) I think we had one which, okay, it worked
to some extent but it was free with the computer and that was about
how much it was worth. Take a look at these customer reviews
http://tinyurl.com/ygcwbo
and you'll see comments like

"This product is a total piece of junk. Lexmark should be embarrassed
to put this product on the market. The paper feed is always pulling
the paper to the side so it jams constantly "

"If you only need to print a page or two a week, or ever go for more
than a couple weeks between print jobs, I recommend avoiding this one
like the plague."

"I got a brand new Lexmark Z35 a couple of weeks ago. This is my first
printer. I am astonished by its bad performance."

"This is a piece of junk."

"The first one fed paper in crooked every time, so I exchanged and the
second one does the very same thing."

"It also seems that the rollers that are supposed to grab onto the
paper and feed it through the machine are especially weak/poorly
designed."
