My Lexmark X83 does not print color pages in Word. Has anyone else
encountered a similar problem? Thanks.

Have you gone into printer properties and made sure "print in greyscale" is not ticked.

Does it print color in other apps?

I have this problem with my X73. It won't print color in any program. I
installed a new cartridge and it still would not print color. I decided
that it had something to do with the cartridge holder mechanism. I tried
to get the insides of the printer but they've made it difficult. My only
option seems to be to take to be repaired. I'm not happy about it!

Cheers

Check the printer options, is it set for color? If it only does it word its
a software issue, what version of word are you using? Have tryed to update
your drivers? Have you checked all printer options?
