upgraded from win98 to winXP and cannot get printe to
work,dowloaded drivers from Lexmark but still no luck, any
ideas.

Not directly related to the message above- but rather the one that
started this:
Artcopy55 MFC application has encountered a problem...
Lexmark Help got back to me quickly- There is a patch for XP that must
be applied as the admin on your XP box. Power User's cannot scan and
print with this patch, so I had to write them. They said:

Thank you for contacting Lexmark.

To resolve this error, complete steps A and B below.

Step A:

1. Open Windows Explorer.

2. Go to C:\Program Files\LexmarkX73.

3. Delete the Artcopy55.jac file.

4. Open the Scan & Copy Control Program. (Go to Start, Programs,
Lexmark
X73, Scan & Copy Control Program.)
The file will be rewritten with the latest settings.


Step B:

1. Open Windows Explorer.

2. Go to C:\Windows\Twain_32.

3. Delete all folders except for the Lexmark folder.

4. Reboot the computer.
