Lexmark x73 Printer Scanner

from day one, cnat get this unit to in stall, took 3
months first time,, now in 2 1/2 years it has fallen off
at least 10 times and took weeks to get it re installed,
says unknown device, icon shows at bottom of page but x
wont go away when unit turned on etc. any help out there???

It's a Lexmark!

Disconnect the printer and follow Bruce Sanderson's instructions at
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm
to COMPLETELY remove all traces of it from the PC.

Reboot.

Download a new set of drivers from the Lexmark website and install the
software. Do NOT reconnect the printer to the PC until it tells you to do
so.
