Lexmark X73 Printer, Copier, Scanner

Windows XP will not recognize the scanner.The messages I
get are "Lexmark X73 MFP Scanner has not passed Windows
Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP".
Another message is "Windows cannot starty this device
because its configuration information (in the registry) is
incomplete or damaged Code (19). What can I do to enable
the scanner. The Printer does work?
