I came across a Lexmark cartridge number 1380950 on ebay that can be
used with Optras R, R+, L., L+
I have read that the cartridges the 1380950's where are taken back by
Lexmark and totally reconditioned/remanufactured .
Can anyone verify that this true

The 1380950 cartridge is one that was released for heavy-duty label usage.
The only difference between it and the regular cartridge is that this one
has a wiper (separate part from the cartridge) that contains oil.

You can find this info on the Lexmark website by searching on the
1380950 part number.

Unfortunately lexmarks web site doesn't tell if the cartridges where
remanufactured

In fact, it does. All remanufactured cartridges have a different part number
than the original manufacture. I know because I work for Lexmark.

If this was a reman it would have a different number.
