Lexmark 1100 All-In-One Printer

After loading all the correct software I keep getting an
A10. exe message and PC keeps showing the box Preparing
Lemark AIO for first use and just keeps searching with no
result.

Can you help please!!!
 
I have the same printer in my system and no problems install was flawless,
but the scanner portion eats allot of memory. Uninstall all the drivers
first and any additional printers you may have. I use XP Pro w/SP1 (don't
know if that matters). But what I did was install all the software from the
cd that came with the printer, then I rebooted my machine, then I plugged in
the USB cable for the printer and it all went smooth. If you still have a
problem check your memory I:E if your using 128 go to 256 etc etc I used 512
then went to 1 gig. Good Luck! Macheen
