My organization use a letterhead with newspaper style 2 columns. The first
column lists the officers data and the 2nd column is for text.

Q: my question is: what is the correct style for page 2 and others. Should
the 2 column style remain or should following pages revert to a full page.

How do I set up either one.

I use XP

Thank you. after I made the post (my first venture to that forum) I browsed
the forum and found your prior writing on "Setting up Templates" It was very
helpful, so much that I downloaded it file. Prior to reading the replies, I
had intuitively selected your choice of single coloum on subsequent pages.

If I knew that answer, there would lnot have been a post. I am Secretary of a
Faternal organization and this will be my call. Susan Barnhill is right on
target.

It's Suzanne. Believe me, remembering her name will get you further than if
you call her Susan. ;-)

(I made that mistake myself years ago. I think she may have mildly scolded
me.)

Some days I am tempted to resolve that I will steadfastly ignore people who
contact me for help via email and address me as Susan. (Or that I will
ignore anyone who emails for help, regardless of form of address.) But I'm
such a pushover. <g>

I did, however, read the riot act to someone who tracked me down and
contacted me by phone, while I was eating lunch, and kept calling me "Susan"
despite repeated corrections. The nerve of some people!

Called you at home??? And then repeatedly messed up your name??? Were the
phone wires fused by the time you were done?

They should have been! OTOH, you never know. Another guy called me at home
(which should have been instant death), with an *Excel* question (which was
absurd), but he evidently hit me in a mellow moment, it turned out his Excel
problem was intriguing, and we had some things in common, and I ended up
with a new client, so you never know.

When things like that happen, it makes me wonder if it's pure coincidence.

If this will be your call, then call it. There was no need for a
post, because there is no necessarily right or wrong answer to
your question. It's usually a matter of preference for the
powers that be.
