Letters & Envelopes in 2007

In Outlook 2003 I could right click a contact and get a template for writing
a letter. In 2007 this seems to missing. Now it's an involved process of
starting up a new Word document and pasting and copying the contact
information. Is there a simpler way for doing just one letter and envelope?
Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Hi - thanks for the answer. What variation do you use?

they removed that option from 2007, in part because it was buggy.

I use a variation of the address card view with the address fields I need -
copy the contact then paste special, as plain text in word.

Yeah I used to right click a contact and create a letter to the contact. This was with Office XP.
Now I use the address book in Word 2007. (Have added the AB to my QAT). Saves a lot of faffing about
with copying & pasting...

Just my 2 euro cents!

Ivan.

Just out of sheer 'cause I don't know, what's a QAT?

Feature was removed because it worked so poorly. It has always been easier
just to use the Insert Address function in Word. You can add that command to
the QAT.
