Win.XPPro. When my PC was returned from repairs, which included reinstalling
Windows all the lettering is now of much larger size and makes some Files
difficult to read, because of the size of the file.

Is there a way I could reduce the size of all the lettering thought my PC to
the same one I had before it went for repairs?

Right-click on the Desktop, go to properties and then the "Appearance" tab.
Change the Font size at the bottom.

If it is just the text - read Gordon's response.
if everything appears larger than it used to (including icons) follow
Gordon's advice but also have a look at the settings tab and increase the
screen resolution.

good luck,
Martin

If everything seems larger, including the fonts, check the desktop size in
Display properties. Increasing the size of the desktop (within the limits
of your display adapter and monitor) will decrease the size of fonts and
objects.
