I picked up a template on the web and created a presentation with it. I save
and close my presentation with titles centered and the bullets the below
title left justified. When I open the presentation up again its all
centered.

What it going on???

I am using Powerpoint 2002 with WindowsXP

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have more than one master slide in the presentation?

There's a bug with the multiple masters where, when you save the slide, the
slides lose any formatting overrides you've done. Actually, I think it may be
more like the slides pick up the formatting from the first set of masters in
the list. So try creating a master slide that has the formatting you want and
put it first in the list of slide masters (View|Master|slide Master).

Or Ctrl+C to copy the text placeholders, Ctrl+V to copy them, and delete the
original placeholders. This makes the textboxes not placeholders, so they'll
stay formatted. The downside is that they don't work like placeholders in
other respects, either, so, for example, the text in them won't show up in
outline view.
