Bullet Alignment in PowerPoint

When I close my presentation, the left-justified bullet alignment defaults to
centered when I reopen. How can I keep the bullets left justified?

Is the text placeholder on the slide master the slide is based on set up
with left-justified bullets?

Which version of PPT?
