Presentation not saving formating changes

I hope this is a simple question and answer.

On my PowerPoint slides I center my titles and save the presentation. Then
when I open up the presentation, all the titles are Left Justified. Why
aren’t my changes sticking?

Thanks.

If you put your title into a title place holder they should automatically be centered, as that is the default setting. How are you inserting your titles?

I am inserting with a title page, like usual, and I have to click on the
"center" button. It then centers it. However, after I save it and reopen it
it is back to "left justified." Does that make any sense?? Frusterating.

However, my temporty fix for right now is: I just copied another "correct"
title page on to all the other pages and reentered the text I needed. There
must be somehting goofy about the ones that were already in there. At this
point, I just want to know what was happening, in case it contiues to happen
in the future.

I can understand the frustration. Which version of PowerPoint are you using? Did you create the initial master for the presentation?
