Leaving a copy of emails on server

I have set up my Outlook 2003 to leave a copy of all emails on my server
(comcast.net) but it keeps unchecking my settings and reverting back to the
default setting (which saves my email on Outlook only). How do I get Outlook
to maintain my settings for my emails so that they remain on my server also?

1) Try deleting or renaming outcmd.dat and restart Outlook.
2) Try deleting or renaming profilename.srs and restart Outlook.
3) Create a new mail profile.
