Hey, Steve! Thank you for responding. It looks like I've got ALOT of work to do... boo-hoo! Does one have to be an expert in XML and VS.Net?...or have basic to intermediate knowledge?? Michele

COM Addin DLL. VB6 does a fine job for Smart Document solutions, and is a heck of a lot
easier to accomplish than a .NET solution.
You don't have to be an expert in XML, either, but you do have to understand how to set up
the XML Schema needed for the controls you want to use in the Document Actions task pane.
Generally, that's not very hard

COM Addin DLL. VB6 does a fine job for Smart Document solutions, and is a heck of a lot
easier to accomplish than a .NET solution.
