LDAP server

Paul

I updated my Outlook to 2003, now it is constantly asking for an LDAP
server. I just want use my contacts/ address book. How do I explain that to
Outlook? I mean automatically so that I don't have to go through the
dialogue where I can choose been the server or my address book.
Do I have to uninstall and reinstall outlook or is there a faster way?
Thanks.

You sound as if you did an in place upgrade from an older version. Never do
that without immediately creating a new Outlook profile because your old
profile's settings will not migrate correctly. Outlook was not designed for
upgrade installations, even though it should have been. At the very least,
you need to remove the LDAP service and replace it with the Outlook Address
Book Service.
