LCD - Two models to choose from

O

I've narrowed down my choice of LCD to two particular models after a lot of
headache!

LG L1715S

Acer AL1721HM

The differences between the models are that the Acer has DVi output as well
as VGA. But I've heard that LG LCD generally has a better reputation.
Also the LG has an internal PSU and a LightView Function to change settings
according to application.

Is the DVi output much of an improvement over VGA?

Which should I go for LG or Acer?!

Thank you

3000+ hours and not a single dead pixel on my LG screen

Stay away from the LG software... its evil and trys to take over from nView.
Its odd for a TFT to not have an internal PSU these days (except crappy sub
15" panels)

IMO, at these low resolutions it doesnt make much of a difference, unless,
youre using the PC in an enviroment with elecromagnetic interference.

I'd go LG, they look nicer, and from my experince are of high build quality.

Thanks Hamman. I was veering towards the LG, and you've confirmed it for
me.
