Can anyone recommend good quality / High resolution 32"/37" LCD Televisions (between £500 - £1K) please?

At the moment I am looking towards 37 1080P series of TVs.

If anyone has access to Which I would love to hear what they have to say.

Has anyone had experience of the following TV's please? -
Panasonic TX32LX500; Philips 32PF3941D/10
Toshiba 37WLT77; 37C3030DB; 37X3030DB; 32WLT68

Regards

my friend has one and it is truly amazing, best thing to do is stand in a shop for an hour watching them all to decide

Thanks but it is too big for my 83 year old mother's flat. I really need a 32" (37" Max.).

As a full time carer, I have little time to spend "an hour watching them all to decide". :)

that one is huge, but the smaller 32 or 37 would i assume be just as good?

i did the whole standing in a shop for about 20mins and had a good look round them all a while back, there was no real difference, the only thing i could see was some had a richer colour which is probably down to how they've been setup

Sorry about that - see below. Wall bracket mounting and the ability to swivel needs to be considered.
  • Toshiba 32C3030DB 32" HD LCD TV Black & Silver Freeview 1366x768 800:1 16:9 500cd/m2
  • Samsung LE32S73BDX 32" Widescrren LCD HD TV 720p 1080i Freeview 1366x768 3000:1 16:9 500cd/m2 8ms
  • Samsung LE32R87BDX Bordeaux 32" LCD HD TV Freeview 1080i 1366x768 450cd/m2 8000:1 8ms HDMI
  • Samsung LE32N73BDX 32" LCD HD TV Freeview 720p 1080i 1366x768 6000:1 500cd/m2 8ms HDMIx2 Black
Regards

Thanks

ok, had a good look at them all and read some reviews i think the samsungs have the edge and tbh its hard to choose between the Samsung LE32R87BDX and the Samsung LE32N73BDX

i doubt you'll be dissapointed with either of them but i'm leaning towards the first of the two purely because of the price i mean its damn cheap!! and its got a higher contrast ratio plus it seems to have just about everything the other one has

Great! Thanks for that, Much appreciated.

I think I will go for the LE32R87BDX because the stand apparently swivels.

Thanks again :)

According to my brother -

The most recent Which? report is April this year. Their best buy by a long way is the PanasonicTX-32LXD600. I don't know what the 500, 600, or 700 means at the end, but they say that the Panasonics frequently do well in their tests. They also rate the Sony KDL-32U2000. The best Samsung comes 12th and the worst comes 20th out of 24.

Comments welcome.
