I'm just looking for some suggestions on a 22" LCD for my computer... I'll
be using it for some gaming but mainly HDV video editing.

I cant recommend a model but sure can recommend a make...........Samsung.

purely for their 3 year warranty which I have used. Next day replacement was
excellent....twice.

Before you make that jump, make sure you know what you're getting.

I've seen a lot of bad reviews of the Samsung B series; the specs are MUCH
different than the T series.

I have a 193P and a new 244T that are both great monitors.

Thanks! Since there's no way to find out which series I'd be getting I think
I may start looking at a VIEWSONIC 22" VX2240W... I have a 19" Viewsonic at
work and I've always been happy with it.

All the 22" monitors I've seen have TN panels. I replaced my 22" LG
with one of the Soyo 24" monitors that OfficeMax has on sale
periodically for $300 and am very happy with it for the same price.

Actually that speaks well for the warranty not the monitor since you've had
to replace it twice in 3 years...................
