Hi, do you know a way to add an LCD screen in the front of the PC box
to display information in real time regarding:
- processor usage
- RAM usage
- download speed
- upload speed
- time of connection to the Internet
- date & time
- name of the operating system currently loaded
Here's a computer that has it: http://www.go-l.com/desktops/index.htm
Thanks,

Check this one out...........maybe more our speed, eh?
The possibilities are endless with this truly unique, fully programmable LCD
display. No programming languages are necessary, as included in the kit is a
full version of LCDC, the most powerful and intuitive program for displaying
information on your LCD display. Plug-ins are available for many popular
programs such as Winamp, Motherboard Monitor 5, and more! This kit installs
in one bay on the front of your computer and draws power and data from a USB
port on the back of your computer.(By Chris M.)

Remember, many internal USB ports are not fused. That is why they are
connected to the rear ports.

Thanks a lot! Unfortunately it seems to work only with Windows. I
wanted to install it on machines that have Gentoo Linux...
I'm out of luck.
