Does anyone know how to Launch an HTML Help file in response to a button
click without using API calls?

Did you already take a look at the HelpProvider component?
 
Is the HelpProvider component available in VB6? I need a VB6 solution.

No, it isn't.

You obviously posted your question to the wrong group. Questions related to
