Hi, I'm doing an assignment on the internet and i need a simple explanation
of what a launcher is!!! Can anyone help?

Never heard of it - sure that is the correct term?
I mean - a "launcher" would (in computer terms) be something that starts a
process - in my mind.
Beyond that - well - I have never heard of it in the manner you imply you
are looking for.
