Launch a program at startup

I know this sounds like a pretty simple question. But I would like to know
how to add a program to the startup so that they will launch automatically at
startup/power on.

just put a shortcut to the program in the Start>Programs>Startup folder

 

[Guest]

Hit start, run and type in:
%userprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
this is the folder you want to put the files in
