Latest Windows update #KB828026----installin every day!!!!

Why isn't Microsoft's newest Windows Update not
installing? Every day, the globe appears and I proceed
and install Critical Update KB828026. Why am I notified
daily of the same update? There seems to be a problem
with Microsoft's patch. Any suggestions?

I had a problem until I deleted some temp files also check to see if
you have a hidden folder called c:\wutemp and
delete it. I had this problem in windows me. However, I had to use
dos mode in me using the boot disk to delete this folder.

You may have to use safe mode in xp to delete it. Then go back to
windows update and trying installing it,

Of course this may not work.

Find c:\windows\catroot2 Delete the catroot2 folder reboot and try again
