Latest Vista Critical Updates Affecting Performance

I installed the lastest Vista Updates (8) yesterday (6/11) and I have noticed
a significant performance degradation including it now taking about 15-120
minutes for my computer to start up. Has anyone else experienced this?

Installed everything that was available - also 8 - and everything is
smooth here.

I'm having some real big issues on my Vista laptop after that day. I'm
getting a lot of program hangs and IE won't search in Google after clicking
the search button. I can't go to hotmail.com either. It's not only IE either,
Firefox does the same as well. Something in those updates royaly messed up my
laptop. I'm going to start removing them one by one to see which one is
causing the problems and then I'll try to post a reply here if I find
anything.
