I have Vista ultimate 64 bit

Finally installed all the updates..now pc wont shut down also the little
brand icons for websites are now all jumbled i.e. eBay's has Lloyds icon etc
plus all the sound is now distorted
Any answers??

No problems here on either desktop or laptop - Home Premium.

Possible your video or motherboard drivers were not up to date prior to the
MS update.
