Latest security updates

I updated to the latest security fixes and my workstation
became very sluggish to the point where I couldn't work. I
removes them through ARP and my computer returned to a
workable state. The security upadtes are KB826232,
KB828035, KB823182, KB824141, KB825119, KB828026 Windows
Media scripting. The patches are explained in Technet
under MS03-045, MS03-041, MS03-042 etc. They deal with
ActiveX Remote controls etc. Microsofts heart is in the
right place but these lastest security update did you no
justice. I recommend not install them until the problem
can be addressed by Microsoft.

I have to disagree with this since I have started deploying this against
Windows 2000 (SP3/4) workstations and haven't run into any issues as of yet.
Perhaps a better approach would be to apply one patch a day and then do a
normal days business to see if there are issues. This way a user could
determine which patch is causing the issue and rollback the patch.

Revised posting: I have tried installing the latest
patches separately and had no troubles. I did this for
each of the other workstations that were affected and it
worked as well. In other cases some workstation had no
trouble of hanging when applying the patches and that is
very interesting because all the workstations have been
ghosted with the same image for the desktop. I have no
explanation for this and I am not going to even try. Thanx
