Probably because you 're visiting the wrong sites.
I can't move them or close them. I have to turn
my computer off to get them off -Help

Can't you control them from the taskbar? Right-click on the button
corresponding on the offensive window and choose "Close". Or press Alt + F4,
the shortcut key for closing windows.

Another thought is to resize the window.

Two ways to go about this.

Option 1.

1. Change your display resolution to 1024x768 or 1280x1024.
Anything that is larger (smaller type) than your current resolution.

2. Resize the window to a much smaller size

3. Change your resolution back to what you prefer.

4. The size should fit on the screen now.

Option 2.
You can move the window manually until you can grab an edge, then resize it
with your mouse.

When the window is the active window, do the following:

1. Hold the ALT key and press the SPACEBAR <release both keys>

2. Press the letter "M" on your keyboard.

3. Use the arrow keys to move the active window into an area you can adjust
the size with your mouse and hit "Enter" to make your move final.

4. Use your mouse to resize the over-sized window so it fits correctly.

5. Close the window. Future IE windows should be fine.
