large icons go blurry

does any one know why, when i select my icons to be large
in outlook 2000 they change to a large almost too large
icon that is out of proporation and blurry.

They are being resized, not resampled. As such, the little squares that were
only one pixel wide in small view are now 10 pixels wide, and still square.
I believe that function was added as an accessibility option for those with
poor sight. With that and a change in font size to 24, OL becomes useable to
many who could not use it before.
