Large emails

I tried to send some emails that were too large. Now Everytime I open
outlook it tries to send these emails but is unsuccessful. I have tried to
delete these messages but cannot because Outlook is trying to send them.
Now, I cannot send any other emails. Any suggestions?

Put Outlook into offline mode, exit Outlook, reload Outlook, delete
items in Outbox, then go back online in Outlook.
