Large emails stay in outbox and sended repeatedly

I have a terrible annoying problem. When I sent emails bigger than
approximately 1 MB the mail stays in the outbox and is sended over and over
again. The recepient does recieve many times the same mail. When I sent a
small mail there is no problem. The mail is sent and disappears in the
outbox. I experienced this problem also with outlook 2003 and XP. Now I use
outlook enterprise version 2007 and Vista. I also use Mc Afee and already
tried a switch off of the email checking and spam. I have installed a http
account to a outlook exchange webacces server.

Who can help me?

If you have always experience this problem, this is your mail account
setting. Contact either support if through a 3rd party host or your email
administrator if in a corporate enviroment.

You said "tried to" switch off mail scanning. Either you switched it off or
you didn't. Which? Keep in mind that some antivirus programs, while
claiming to have disabled mail scanning, in fact do not. To truly disable
it, you must uninstall the entire program and reinstall without the mail
scanning feature.
