Don Quixote
Something is strange.
I have several PCs at home. Mostly XP.
A while ago, my laptop started to act slow whenever starting a program
or even when opening a text file.
I realized that every time I open a file with an extension other than
an executable it tries to connect to my other machine (and only to
that one) on port 445 AND 80 AND 139. So it takes 20-25 seconds before
it finally starts anything.
It looks like it has something to do with file association, but can't
find what is the problem.
Any suggestions on how to go about to figure out what is going on ?
Thanks
Sal
