Laptop to TV via S-video

have laptop connected to tv via s-video cable
and "theoretically" have video settings configured
correctly yet, unable to view laptop image on tv.....
HELP!!!

First of all, ensure you have the correct drivers for your graphics card.
They should be downloaded from the notebook manufacturer's website.

Then look in your notebook manual for the correct instructions.... First of
all ensure the tv is switched on, then reboot the notebook. No version of
Windows can see a device that is turned off. Once the notebook is
restarted, you should be able to 'switch' output from notebook screen to TV.
