laptop stuck in hibernation

My laptop is stuck in hibernation. It did not shut down
(off) just stuck in hibernation and can't get it to shut
down or power on. Have tried mashing every key. Any
help?

Have you pulled the battery and let is shut down all the way? If that allows
it to bootup correctly, then you may be able to correct the problem.
