Laptop Restart Due to after Plug in Mouse

Hi, can someone please help. After installing latest update for window XP
(service pack 2), my laptop automatically restart and kept restarting over
and over again whenever I plug in any mouse.
 
Disable automatic restart on system failure (on SP2): Press F8 on restart, and see the menu item to disable auto restart. Restart,
and when the STOP message appears, record information needed for further troubleshooting.
