Hey all,

I got a phone call of one of me mates earlier, he said he was having some problems with games on his laptop. Its a pretty high end laptop, it has an AMD 64 processor and an Nvidia graphics card (a geforce MX or FX 440 i think). So anyway, back to the query, I told him to update his graphics driver from the nvidia site, and he couldnt find the drivers for it. I had a look meself and couldnt find specific laptop drivers either. So does he just use standard Geforce drivers?

An MX 440 graphics chip is not for playing games i'm afraid...Good for office applications but not good for games...

If your friend wants to play Pacman then yeah by all means, but unfortunately battlefield 2 and the like are gonna be out of the question...

The gForce drivers are correct ... there are no "laptop" graphics drivers.

Laptops are not really designed for games ... get a PC with a handle, or put it on wheels. ;)
