Laptop function keys don't always work under windows xp

Try download the latest XP utitilies from Dell.
Also download the latest XP compatible drivers for the
chipsets, sound , vedio and keyboard/mouse pad, etc.

Hi,

Do you know where to download the Xp utilities from Dell?
I did download the latest drivers for my system from
Dell's website (video, mouse/trackpoint, bios) and got the
latest drivers for my sound card from the manuf
website....still doesn't work, it did a couple times then
after I rebooted it wouldn't. Is there a key combination
to se to activate it or is this a XP problem?
