hi i need help for my neighbour...... he has just brought a new acer laptop
from ukraine obviously preinstalled with no discs and its in therussian
language and he wants to connect his internet to it but the russian version
of vista home premium is not accepting it. i would like to know how i can
change the vista version from russian to english from startup, i have changed
all the language settings but its still in russian from startup...HELP HELP

He can not change the original install language in Vista Home Premium.
He would have to buy an English Version of Vista Home Premium.

Or, he could do an upgrade to Ultimate, and then download the language packs.
