Laptop display too dark!

hi there,

the display on my laptop turned very dark all of a sudden! As far as
I'm aware I didn't touch anything strange but now am having to squint to see
anything in the screen! Everything else seems to work ok.

on the top buttons of your keyboard see if there are small icons for
brightness and sound volume.. most laptop have these on the keyboard on the
same keys that other functions exist (most times they are on the F5-F6
keys).
Most of the times you can access those special keys by pressing an Fn key on
the laptop
(also called a function or f-lock key)





this model has an FN key and then the arrow keys for the brightness
