I receive the following message in the system event log.

The value named Start in the server's Registry key
LanmanServer\Parameters is invalid. The value was ignored
and processing continued.

What are valid settings for this parameter. The current
value is set to 1.

The value Start must exist one level up, i.e. under 'lanmanserver'. That
value under Parameters is invalid and Windows whines.
If the service is a Win32 service, the value of Start must be 2 (automatic),
3 (manual), or 4 (disabled).
