My wife is Chinese, me not,
I have English version of windows XP,
Is there a way to switch to Chinese language (and Chinese
keyboard) from time to time ?

Hi,

I don't believe that Chinese is supported within the language options of the
English edition of WinXP. You would need purchase and setup a dual boot
scenario with a Chinese-based version.

You can install the Chinese IME (Input Method Editor) from your
original XP CD. That will allow your wife to use the Chinese language
to write E-Mail and if she desires, with Microsoft Office.

Go to the following web site and read his outstanding instructions on
how to install Asian languages to XP. NOTE: The installation of the
Chinese IME DOES NOT change the overall language of XP. All menus and
dialogs will remain in English.
