Hello,
I installed WinOSX which is a software that does a mac theme for windows but
I didnt like it so I uninstalled it. After I uninstall it, it messed up my
language settings somehow as some of the options show up in english and the
rest in arabic. It was previously in english and I never had anything set to
arabic. My internet explorer options are in arabic. Some of the control panel
options are in french, arabic and english. Can you please tell me how to fix
this error and how to restore the previous settings so everything comes in
english?

Maybe if you change the Control Panel Regional and Language Options,
then change back to English? I've never tried that, just a thought..

I have already tried that. In fact, it is set to English. But there is still
arabic showing in some things. For instance, the internet options menu has
most options written in english, but some in arabic. This shows up in other
random places like the box that shows up before downloads and before
installation. Please help. Thanks.

Were all software English/Latin versions? i.e., did you start with a US
version of XP, install a version of WinOSX with American English? I'm
not sure it will help to know, I just wondered..

Here are a few suggestions I found with a Google Groups search:

Wrong version of MFC42LOC.DLL

In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Languages button.
Make sure English (US) is at the top.

Long thread with a few ideas.

Here's an expanded search that, with persistence, could net a solution:
