LAN

I have a laptop with win2k and i use it home and work. At
work I connect through A swith which also connects to a
Router. And at home, i got Internet Cable, I used to use
my home network connecting desktop and my laptop using
Network Home Wizard, however now, I can only connect
automatically at work but not at home. Can anybody tell
me, why cant i connect LAN at home?

Not sure how you're working at home - Were you using ICS (internet
connection sharing) from the home computer to the laptop? Are you getting an
IP address assigned on your laptop? What errors are you actually getting
when you try?

I personally don't like ICS very much....if you pick up a little broadband
router/firewall, it will let you share the connection easily at home (does
DHCP, NAT, and the good ones do stateful packet inspection for more
protection from the Internet).
