LAN on Linux IGD

I have DSL, but in my network connections, I have my DSL connection AND a LAN
on Linux IGD. I am able to browse the web, but when I use other programs
that are reliant on that connection ie:AOL, Itunes, etc, they do not detect
the connection. I do not know what the linux connection is and don't
understand why my programs do not recognize my connection. HELP, please.

What do you mean "Linux IGD"? Do you have a standalone computer or are
you in a corporate setting? Please describe your network setup better.
Also tell us what version of Windows you're using - Home or Pro,
Service Pack level. Firewall? Antivirus (name and version)?
