LAN connection problem

Please Help!

I have recently installed a new router and DSL with my two
computers (both win 2k pro), and now one computer can't
access the other and vice versa. BUT they both are
successfully connecting to the internet.

I had to change the IP settings on both computer
to "obtain ip address automatically" in order for our DSL
to work. I've configured the router and the IP settings
for dynamic IP...

When I try to open to the other computer, I get a "network
path not found" error. Both computers successfully ping
each other and their subnets are the same, everything
(except the IP, of course). The only thing I noticed when
I ran ipconfig was that IP Routing Enable was set to "no,"
and if that's the problem, I don't know how to turn it on.

Sorry for the novel...can anyone help please?!

This has nothing to do with IP routing. Turn off any firewall software and
enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
