Lack of visual themes

I have Aero Basic and about 5 classic themes. Not alot to choose from, who
wants classic? lol
I cannot change the colours in aero basic so its the grey window borders and
black taskbar and start menu and that is all. I like the curves of aero
basic but will get bored of the black and grey.
Do you think they will change this in the real release? I want lots of
themes or at least the ability to change system colours with aero basic.
Programs like stylebuilder and windowblinds are extremely popular, I am
surprised that MS have not included the ability to change the themes
totally.

From what I've heard, a different appearance for Aero Basic is in the
makings. I would assume and hope that this will have more options as well.

Who wants classic? Good question. It seems a lot of XP users prefer
Classic (a/k/a: Butt Ugly Windows 9x look).

Right now Vista has far more options for nice theming than XP (which is
severely lacking).

I'd like lots of color options in Aero Basic and Glass. In particular
I'd like to be able to change the color schemes for widgets (sort of
like you can do in Win 9X).

I don't think it does have more options. I just think it is laid out in a
way that it seems more. Look at the Basic Aero, you cannot change the colour
of the taskbar or window borders. Yes you can change the inside of windows
but you could in XP anyway.

Fingers crossed because I thin kI might get bored of black soon :)

I believe Stardock will be releasing a Vista version of their
Windowblinds program, probably after the final release of Vista. I was
into customizing the look of Windows XP and for a long time and tried to
make it look as much as possible like OS X. Then, after seeing what the
Aero Glass looked like to make XP look and act like Vista as much as
possible. Now that I am running the real Windows Vista, I find myself
more than happy with the way Vista looks with the Aero Glass and how it
works.
