Lack of resources for gameport.

After installing a Muse 5.1 I find the Standard game port
inoperable due to lack of resources with the fault code
12 , further compounded by the lack of the facility to
change the resource address, i.e. greyed out.

I have checked through all other devices and found that
nothing appears to be using I/O range 0201-0201 so am at
a loss to understand why this range should be not
available, having no other information can anyone help.

did your system originally have a build in game port??
did you disable it in the BIOS??
Does the setting in the BIOS match the setting on the card??
