Label dissapears when changing records

I created a field with a label named Page ID. When in form view, the Page ID
label dissapears when I change records. The background of the box is black
and the font is white. Could that be the reason?

Please help.
 
I don't think so.
When I had things disappear on me, it was always because they got pushed
into the background and something is in front of them obscuring them.
So what I would try to do is go to Design view, click on your label to make
sure it's active, and then go to the menu bar at the top of the Access window
and click on Format, and then Bring to Front.
