Hello everyone,
Today,I bought a game which called Age of Empires 3. But I can not
play it. And it said AOE3 could not find the l3codecx.ax. My computer system
is Windows Vista Home Basic. So I want to ask you how I can get the
l3codecx.ax. Thank you!!!

I believe the free K-lite codec pack has this and other commonly needed
codecs, you can get it here:

You would want to update to the at least the AOE3 1.10 patch from last year
which fixes this issue. In a quick search, it looks like at least 1.12 is
out already?

seems to have it.
