kvm problem with 9700 Pro

I use a kvm switch when I work on pc's as it is more convenient than
setting up dual monitors and input devices because of space
limitations. Recently I upgraded my video from an original ATI Radeon
32Md DDR to a 9700 Pro and the monitor has a bluish (cyan actually)
tint when switched to the 9700. Even the DOS boot screens have this
odd coloring. I can see that reds and greens are there, they are just
muted. I've tried adjusting the refresh rate and gamma settings to no
avail. I tried using an external power supply for the kvm. I've also
changed cables and hacked one open in order to change the red, blue
and green pin outs. Nothing seems to work.Every other card I've used
with this kvm looks fine, including several other ATI cards. This is
an IOGear miniview se gcs82a switch. After an exhaustive web and news
search I've only found one reference to a similar situation and that
was resolved with a pinout change. My motherboard is an Asus A7N8X
with the agp set to 8x if that helps. If anyone is currently using a
kvm with the 9700 Pro I'd be interested in the make/model. Any
thoughts on correcting this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does the monitor look okay if you disconnect the KVM and connect directly to
the 9700p? It does sounds like a connection or pin problem.

Thanks for helping. The monitor is a Sony 17" CPD-200ES. I've tried
resetting the monitor and restarting it. Interestingly, if I unplug
the console and the monitor cables and attach them directly to each
other it looks great. Only seems to be buggered when going through the
kvm. The other computers that I've had on position 2 have used ATI,
Nvidia and on-board video and have all passed fine even with the 9700
on position 1. I also tried updating the bios just for grins but it's
still odd. After careful observation it appears to be the red that is
missing and/or messed up. I suppose that I need to try this 9700 in
another machine but I don't have anything that I'm working on right
now. I get to leave my stuff for last you know lol. I think that
I'll get the vga cable that I hacked up and see if the missing color
is related to a specific pin position since I do know that i did get
red when it was switched with blue, but I didn't think to look at what
was missing other than it was generally "not right". Thanks again for
your help, I'll play with the cable wiring tomorrow.
